30. Pflege nach operativen Eingriffen an der Brust

Zusammenfassung

Einer der wichtigsten Pfeiler der Brustkrebsbehandlung ist die Exzision des Knotens mittels Operation. Für die betroffenen Frauen ist es eine einschneidende Therapie, denn viele fühlen sich trotz Krebserkrankung gesund. Nach der Operation sind die Frauen körperlich eingeschränkt und auf Unterstützung angewiesen. Viele erleben Ängste und Trauer. Zudem müssen sich die Frauen mit ihrem neuen Körperbild auseinandersetzen.
Bei der operativen Behandlung von Brustkrebs stehen heute brusterhaltende Operationen im Vordergrund. Muss der gesamte Brustdrüsenkörper entfernt werden, stehen verschiedene rekonstruktive Verfahren zu Verfügung. Die Vielfalt an Behandlungsmöglichkeiten verstärkt den Bedarf an Information und Unterstützung durch ein multiprofessionelles Behandlungsteam. Dieses Kapitel beschreibt die operativen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten bei Brustkrebs und die damit verbundenen pflegerischen Aufgaben.
