Zusammenfassung

Dieses Kapitel beschäftigt sich u. a. mit Ernährungssonden, wobei die wichtigsten Typen, Indikationen und Komplikationen sowie Grundzüge der enteralen Sondenernährung beschrieben werden. Der zweite Abschnitt widmet sich den Indikationen, Arten und Folgen einer Tracheotomie; danach wird ausführlich auf die zahlreichen Typen von Trachealkanülen sowie auf das Trachealkanülenhandling eingegangen. Kenntnisse auf diesen Gebieten sind für schlucktherapeutisch tätige Personen wichtig, um sich mit anderen Berufsgruppen interdisziplinär kompetent austauschen und Fragen der Betroffenen und ihrer Angehörigen beantworten zu können.
