Zusammenfassung

Bereits in der unteren Nasenmuschel findet jedoch ein Übergang statt in die Regio respiratoria, eine mit Flimmerepithel bedeckte und mit Becherzellen (Schleimdrüsen) ausgestattete Zone. Diese grenzt direkt an die Lamina propria, die hauptsächlich aus lockerem Bindegewebe besteht und ausgedehnte Venennetze sowie Schleimdrüsen enthält. Aus diesem Bereich fließen Nasenbluten und Schnupfensekrete.
