24. Lymphödem

Zusammenfassung

Das Lymphödem tritt bei Tumorpatienten in Folge der Krankheit oder unter Therapie auf und kann verschiedenste Probleme, u. a. der Haut, verursachen. Es belastet Patienten und Angehörige sowohl physisch als auch psychisch und sozial. Unbehandelt ist das Lymphödem eine fortschreitende und chronifizierende Erkrankung mit Vermehrung und Veränderung. Pflegende können durch Erfassung und durch geeignete Interventionen in Kooperation mit anderen Mitgliedern des therapeutischen Teams, insbesondere Physio-, Sport- und Bewegungstherapie, das Ausmaß und die damit verbundenen Beeinträchtigungen deutlich vermindern.
